Anti-Plastic Bag

For this project, I had to create my own brief and challenge myself to think away from ‘the normal,’ which meant developing my speculative, critical methods.

Due to people still wanting to consume plastic, the outcome consists of 2 plastic bags that directly call the user out for what they are doing. This project is not shy; this project is polluting.

Having a glimpse of life in Wales, they recycle almost everything and limit households on the amount of rubbish taken weekly but they still go through so many plastic bags. I used thought-provoking what-if questions to challenge the lifestyle of over-consuming plastic bags, such as what if it was embarrassing to have plastic bags or what if bags had personalities?
