Penguin Book Cover

One week university challenge to design a Penguin book cover good enough to enter their competition. The book is a rollercoaster story about three women who grew up in England with Indian parents.

I was inspired by the decorative Indian henna style so I took this concept and drew hand-drawn decorations in illustrator.

I experimented with photoshop and watercolour, however, the design was static and one tone so I used my skills in photoshop to add layering and texture.
